How to teach a child to count while playing?
How to develop good arithmetic skills, teach addition and subtraction algorithms, and prepare for multiplication and division?
These workbooks can help you to get 5-8 years old children interested in math and introduce them to the fundamentals of mathematical thinking and some arithmetical concepts.
You will learn how the different numeral systems are arranged and how to convert any number from the decimal system familiar to us into the binary one used, for example, by computers.
In this lesson, you will also understand the logic of other numeral systems and realize that it can be explained with easy examples, even to a six-year-old child.
- Study regularly, at least once a week.
- Let your child figure the problems out by themselves, do not give them a hint until they try to solve them two or three times on their own.
- Do not do more than three lessons per day, even if the child is very involved. Knowledge should take time to absorb not only during the process of problem-solving but also while sleeping.
- You can buy the workbooks. They contain additional problems for the covered topics. They are not essential, but they help children to grasp the material better, and the children tend to like them.
