© Abramson Math, 2022
Abramson Math is loved by everyone and helps not only children, but also
  • their parents
  • teachers
  • and other curious adults.

Why has Abramson Math been in demand for 30 years and is now becoming even more popular?

Simple
Children as young as six years old can start studying with Abramson Math. They learn fundamental concepts (including graphs and functions) in the first four classes of school. But they learn them in a format that is accessible to those who are only learning how to count.

Logical
Every topic is based on the previous one. Concepts get progressively more complex.

Entertaining
Problems require mental aptitude and freedom of thought. Students do not have to mechanistically insert numbers into the formulas.

Gives systemic knowledge
By the sixth grade, students would have covered essentially the same system that is used in universities’ mathematics departments but free of details that are difficult for children to master.

Abramson Math helps children to learn math comfortably and adults to develop analytical and creative thinking
Abramson Math gives real math knowledge, and does not just mechanisticly prepare for the standartized tests.

Easily understandable by children, and suitable for adults
In the school math curriculum children constantly face discontinuities in their understanding of mathematics: simple counting is replaced by formulas, formulas are substituted by functions, functions in high school are suddenly supplemented by graphs… That is why in a regular school, mathematics is difficult for many.

No cramming
Abramson Math stresses thinking and not memorizing. Memory development is a by – product. The main thing is the ability to approach the problem in different ways to solve it.

Accessible everywhere
Online classes and the online course recorded in 2022 allow Russian-speaking children from all over the world to learn from Yakov Abramson himself.

What happens in classes?
  • The teacher never gives ready-made formulas. A student has to deduce every rule and every formula by themselves (it is more interesting, and it helps to master the subject).
  • Students are working in groups to find solutions (practicing teamwork skills).
  • The solution is always presented by the students who have solved the problem and not by the teacher. The teacher can only direct them with questions and hints.

Dividing the quadrilateral into two equal parts
A combinatorics problem. Sixth grade. How many ways are there to select three numbers from 3n consecutive integers so that their sum would be divisible by 3?
How is online course structured?
  • The teacher explains the topic, giving some examples.
  • In the class, students receive problems to solve.
  • At the end of the lesson — a final problem and a problem to revise the material.

You can always return to the previous lesson or a particular part of the topic.
If something is left unclear, you can always ask our support service.
