Maxim Metlitski was Yakov Abramson’s student. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from Harvard University.
“Yakov Abramson taught us math using abstract notions, just as they teach it at the university: matrices, permutations, elements of the theory of groups. But he made it easy, and he enthralled us with every new topic,” remembers Maxim.
