I can’t help but note that children do not only learn mathematics here but also develop a lot of other essential qualities: great respect for the teacher and each other; great pride in one’s accomplishments; confidence; feeling of friendship and solidarity; ability to work hard; ability to work in a team; ability to think. And the last but not the least, a total absence of fear of the most “bizarre”, complex, and non-standard problems.

I finished my first year at the department of chemistry with straight As. I have a difficult major — nano processes and materials, and we have to study math in depth. Can you believe that I got the best exam grade in the class? During the term, I completed all the tasks in mathematical analysis and was very successful in linear algebra!

Thank you for the fundamental knowledge, logic, and main principles of mathematical proofs! Only now I was able to realize how powerful was what you taught us back in 6th and 7th grades!

Yakov Abramson’s classes are always difficult and interesting.

We start every new topic with introductory notes, where everything is explained in detail. And even if somebody fails to understand something in class, Yakov Abramson will explain everything and only then continue the lesson.

The notes contain problems that we solve in class. There is a mandatory test at the end of every topic. It is unimaginable that you would fail to understand anything — Yakov Abramson will answer all of your questions. Even during the pandemic, we had wonderful online classes!

In those classes, my son got the knowledge that helped him in school, for two years straight.

After every class, my son was telling me all about it: what was especially interesting, who was the first to solve the problem, how many stars was he able to earn. He was fully involved in the process.

In the morning, I realized that my child got up in the middle of the night to finish this test 🙈

So he managed to finish the first module. Thank you so much; he became really involved in the process, and the last three lessons he did in one go. He stopped only after he was done with the final test. He enjoys it immensely.

We have finished the course, and we want to continue. I have two kids — 7 and 14 years old, and the older one is very interested😍I was really surprised. He even tried to give some new problems to the younger one. Now they actually create some new problems together and ask me to solve them🤣

I make mistakes on purpose, so they check me and laugh. Nikita understands that I did it on purpose, but Yaroslav starts explaining where and why was I mistaken.

We have finished the first lesson with our child, and have solved the test. He is solving the problems quite confidently already. The main issue is that sometimes he makes mistakes due to the lack of attention. For example, he may say “a tiger”, but he would write down “a wolf”, so the solution would not be correct. But that is probably something that all children tend to do😅 Anyway, we are ready to go on :)

We will do our best! So far it was easy for him.
